LHDI create awareness on sexually transmitted infections, life threatening illnesses and diseases. This includes but not limited to Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Hepatitis and Tuberculosis. Other services include: HIV counseling and testing, care and support of people living with HIV and affected by HIV/AIDS.LHDI’S ASRH Program aimed at minimizing continuing increase in the number of teenage pregnancy, abortion, early marriage and contraction of sexually transmitted infections among young persons.

Provision of quality and comprehensive services for orphans and vulnerable children across the nooks and crannies of Osun-State. Basically, LHDI provides minimum package of services to vulnerable children as recommended in the National Guidelines and Standards of Practice on OVC. It includes education, nutrition and psychosocial support, health, shelter, child right protection, clothes and household economic strengthening.

Our primary target is to train, support, engage and monitor about fifty thousand unemployed and under-employed youths in Osun State within the next five years to minimize the impacts of unemployment and reduce the number of employed youths in the State and Nigeria at large through vocational training and life survival skills training. Community Development: This includes promotion of self-helped projects, advocacy visits to government and community linkage with relevant development partners.

LHDI aims to empower young men and women that are single mothers/fathers and other young men and women who have no strong financial capabilities to meet their family basic needs. This among other methods employ includes formation of savings and loan groups for the target audience, through which they access an interest free loans to expand their businesses and become self-reliance.

The services we render includes technical support, trainings on core component of NGO- Leadership Styles, Staff Recruitment and Management, Volunteerism, Conflict Management/Resolution, Sustainable Leadership Succession Plan, Project Implementation and Management, Project Sustainability, Developing NGO Profile and Policies, Writing of Fundable Proposal, Fund Raising and Strategic Plan.

LHDI concentrates on prevention and containment of child trafficking, labor and abuse via awareness creation on its dangers and consequences.

LHDI promotes girl child education in all her programs and activities through media campaign, community dialogues/ town hall meetings, community mobilization and sensitization. This is not unconnected to the fact that the organization cherishes gender equality, fair and justice to both sex.

LHDI provides an interest free loan to the general population who wishes to expand their businesses. Interested persons will apply to the organization and after screening; if s/he is successful, s/he will sign terms and conditions for payment with two guarantors. Each qualified individual is entitled to borrow between ten thousand naira and two hundred thousand naira payable within six months. Livingspring Human Development Initiative (LHDI) is a non-governmental and non-political organization based in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. It was established in 2014 and registered with Corporate Affairs Commission and Osun State Ministry of Women and Children Affairs the same year.
LDHI focuses on youth development, young men and women empowerment, orphans and vulnerable children capacity building, adolescent sexuality and reproductive health and community health care-through awareness creation and prevention of illnesses and diseases
