ONGOING ACTIVITIES/PROJECTS
One of the primary responsibilities of a parent is to ensure that his /her children education counts, but in the face of dwindling economic problem experiencing in the state, it may be easier to say than done. In the light of the above, our organization offers a helping hand for parents by making available children education support fund which parents can assess with ease at our organization with just administrative charges.
We counsel both young and old people on any issue that affects their health such as issues on adolescent sexuality and reproductive health for young persons, child spacing and child health for family men and women. Our youth adolescent sexuality and reproductive health counseling program aimed at minimizing continuous increase in the number of teenage pregnancy, abortion, early marriage and contraction of sexually transmitted infections.
Similarly, we counsel in-school youths on their future career right from the point of subject selection at post primary school level to point course selection at higher education entrance examination level. Graduates and out of school youths are not left out in our career counseling.
We help less privileged widows with finance to start any income generating activities of their interest with no interest. In addition, we provide them with daily needs and food stuff during their meeting that usually comes up every last Tuesday of every month at our office at 4pm

LHDI successfully coordinated HIV client linkage to care in Osun State in the just concluded 2019 Nigeria HIV/AIDS Indicator and Impact Survey(NAIIS)
Training of 18 NGOs in the State on proposal writing and budgeting
Training of over 567 graduates on how to pass job interviews
Training of 350 students as peer health educators in 35 high schools on SRHR
Provision of Nutritional and Educational Support for 163 Orphan and Vulnerable Children
Economic empowerment for less privileged widows through revolving soft loans
Catch Them Young Project – Training of 413 of adolescents on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and rights /Life Survival Skill Trainings.
Capacity Building of 248 youths in 9 churches and 6 mosques using the Faith-Based Approach to HIV Prevention
LHDI Adolescent Mentoring Programme (training and mentoring project for in and out of school adolescents)
Training of 34 community health workers on HCT in 3 local government areas of Osun State.
